WordPress 2.9 is now available!
I heard about this news before but this time there is no alert telling to upgrade the WordPress version. I guess this version is not emphasize of safety features so there is no prompt to upgrade to newer version like before.
This is a major update after the version 2.8 about 6 months ago and it comes with some interesting features, those are:
- Built-in image editor
- Undo trash (You can undo the deletion of posts/pages)
- Easier video integration
- And some other cool features
This version called WordPress version 2.9 “Carmen” named in honor of magical jazz vocalist Carmen McRae.
