It is not amazing news to know that Google also introduced its own URL shortener – goo.gl. After the success of various URL shortener service provider and the recent one, fb.me by Facebook, Google also provides the same service in order to let the users share the files easier and faster than before.

goo.gl is built based on three benefits – Stability, Security and Speed. The important feature is Google will choose to approve the URL to be shortened or not, avoiding the harm from the unidentifiable and malicious sites.

Currently goo.gl is only available for Google Toolbar and Feedburner and if they found this service is useful, it’s possible that this service will be opened for wider audience in the future.
