PIKOM PC Fair is coming!

PIKOM PC Fair is an annual event organized by PIKOM, the association representing the information and communications technology (ICT) industry in Malaysia. It involves companies in a whole spectrum of ICT products and services and handles about 80% of the total ICT trade in Malaysia.

The first PIKOM PC Fair was held in 1995 at the Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur. The fair is recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records as the Largest ICT Fair in Malaysia.

Are you attending IE6 Funeral on March 4 2010?

IE6 lived for eight years over the web and ‘died’ on died on the morning of March 1, 2010 in Mountain View, California, as a result of the situation defined by the official funeral website as “a workplace injury sustained at the headquarters of Google, Inc.” And it is stated that IE6 is survived by son IE7 and grand-daughter IE8.

If you are feel interested in going to the funeral, gather with fellow IE6 friends and loved ones at Forest Room 5, 2532 15th Street, Denver, CO 80211-3902 on Thursday, March 4, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. to pay your respects for IE6.

Gosh. They came. And now they go. I guess even a single bit deserved to get a life. Farewell, IE6. We might remember you for different reasons.

Hi fellas!

The result for “10 English Movies That I Should Watch” is out!

Let’s see the result for the contest.

Before you read the result, please be informed that this is the final result and will not be changed for any reason.

How we judge the movies suggestions?

I closed the contest on 1st July 2009 and the comment section. I then contacted the judges (my friends – all of them are movie geeks), paying for their dinner meals and then gave them the movies suggestions that the participants had sent to us.

To be fair, I’d excluded myself from judging the submissions.

There are 13 participants for this contest. And the winner had been chosen from the participant who lists most movies that had impressed the judges. It took a couple of days (they never watch some of the movies so they have to watch them first) for them to give me the result.

The full mark is 10 and the marks given based on the number of movies that had impressed the judges in the suggestions.
