Injury is one of the common thing in football and history recorded various incidents that leads to players’ injury during matches and training sessions.
We got a shocking news in a few days ago when Aaron Ramsey, a 19 years old midfielder from Arsenal who also plays for Wales was taken to hospital after a tackle by Ryan Shawcross, the defender from Stoke. Arsenal won the game 3-1. In other updates, Ryan Shawcross later had been called to play for England squad versus Egypt in the week after.
Arsenal then had released a statement confirming the player’s injury and that he had undergone surgery. Ramsey had been confirmed that he will miss the rest of the season.
On Friday night, Aaron Ramsey released the following statement:
“I remember what happened clearly and after the tackle went in I saw that my leg was broken and hanging at an angle. I have seen images of the aftermath of the collision again but I don’t want to dwell too much on the challenge as I can’t change what has happened.” You can read more of his statement here.
